Whether you’re a seasoned trail runner or simply looking for a relaxed and social run to round off the year, this event is the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit.

Our Christmas at Aldborough trail run is designed to be shorter, fun, and accessible – ideal for runners of all abilities. Lace up your trail shoes, don your best festive attire (Santa hats, Christmas jumpers, sparkles and elf costumes encouraged!) and enjoy a scenic run through the beautiful Norfolk countryside.

While the route may vary slightly each year, it always captures the best of Norfolk’s winter trails, offering a mix of easy terrain, crisp air, and plenty of laughter along the way. It’s not about speed or distance, it’s about enjoying trail running together in a relaxed, festive setting.

After the run, the celebration continues at the Aldborough Church Rooms, where runners gather to refuel, relax and raise a glass to another great year of trail running. Expect:

• Warming mulled wine
• Delicious homemade dishes and sweet treats (did we mention the soup and veggie chilli)
• And of course, the legendary Rosemary Focaccia, a firm favourite among the Norfolk Trail Runners community

All food is provided by the runners, bringing a real sense of community and togetherness to the event.
